The day after Jett's birthday, we hopped in the car and drove to Pocatello to Noelle's house. The boys and I were going to watch Landon and Ava while Kyle and Noelle went to the hospital to have the new baby. The kids had lots of fun, and it was quite an adventure for me with a four-year-old, almost three-year-old, 15 month-old and 12 month-old to chase around the house. We had a great time and loved to see new baby Brooklin when Noelle and Kyle brought her home the next day.
This was the only good shot that I could get of the four of them
Swinging!
Jett loved to swing and swing....
and swing!
Trying to feed two bottles to two tired babies. So this is what twins would be like?
And here she is - Baby Brooklin

Birthday Boy!
This little boy turned "1" today! He has certainly brightened our lives over the past year and we just love him to pieces. He is still our sweet little boy, but he certainly has his own personality and he lets us know exactly what he does and doesn't want. At one year, Jett is doing lots of fun things: he loves to wave bye-bye, he thoroughly enjoys pulling absolutely everything out of the kitchen cabinets (note to Ryon - weren't you supposed to put latches on those?), he is ALMOST walking and can crawl super fast, he can show you where his nose and mouth are, and he loves to give kisses.
He had his own little birthday cake, but he wasn't all that interested in digging in. He liked the candle though
He wasn't all that sure about the frosting either!
He liked squishing the frosting in his hands and tasted in once
We finally got him to taste some of the cake, but he only wanted a few bites. I should have put a candle in a bowl of sweet potatoes or bananas - he would have loved it!
Happy Birthday big boy

Christmas 2011
Due to our late night on Christmas Eve, I had to wake everyone up Christmas morning to see what Santa had brought. Hoyt couldn't believe that Santa had really read his letter and brought him two motorcycle guys and some art supplies. Jett was only interested in tearing everything out his stocking, which is why Santa wisely brought him bath toys!
After oohing and aahing over the stockings, we rushed around to get ready for church and head out the door at 8:45. We had a wonderful Sacrament meeting and then came home, put back on our pajamas, and opened presents. After the presents were openend, we spent the day playing with new toys, eating a yummy dinner, and relaxing.

Brotherly love and...
affection!
Hoyt opening his present from Grandma and Grandpa Hoyt
Star Wars Legos...hooray!!
Jett with Elmo from Grandma and Grandpa Murray
The Hot Wheels racetrack was a hit with Hoyt
Jett finally got into opening a present
He pushed his phone around all day!
Dad loved his rope and new fleece-lined sweatshirt
I was pretty impressed that Ryon actually went in to Bath and Body Works to get me some great smelling lotions! (Don't mind my little "pink" eye - a present from the boys that took me a few days to get rid of!)

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve night we were invited to have dinner with some friends from church. Before leaving for the evening the boys opened one present each - pajamas from mom and dad. Ryon was sure that Hoyt would not be excited with pj's, but I told him to just wait and see. When Hoyt opened his Star Wars pajamas, you would have thought he had been given tickets to Disneyland. He was that excited; I didn't need to tell Ryon "I told you so" but I did!
Quite a few families came to Christmas Eve dinner and afterwards there was a little program. Each family was supposed to provide some kind of "talent". Hoyt represented for our family and sang by himself, and acapella, I Am A Child of God. He did a great job. After the entertainment Santa surprised the kids with a visit (one of Williams' teenage boys dressed up and handed out little presents).
When we finally made it home, at 10:30, we set out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and then got everybody in bed. Hoyt explained to me that he thought he wouldn't be able to sleep because he was too excited for Christmas. He was out as soon as his head hit the pillow!
The boys and I before heading out on Christmas Eve
Ready to open their first present! (Jett is looking a little orange in this picture. I think we had better cut back on the sweet potatoes and carrots!!)
I don't know if Hoyt's excited!
Getting his present from Santa
Jett isn't sure what to think! We had to laugh at Santa's gloves, and his hair that completely covered his face!!
Ready for bed in his new Star Wars pj's and showing off his cookies for Santa.

Visiting Bigler's
One evening we went to see some lights at the park - Hoyt loved it!
Hoyt kept yelling, "Look, there's a castle....look, there's a snowman, etc."
Hoyt and Malorie couldn't get their heads far enough out the window!
"Look, mom, a dancing girl!"
Our last morning before heading for home. Jett wasn't happy about having his picture taken!
The three amigos. Hoyt loved having a slumber party every night.
The night Ryon and Matt got home from their conference was Ryon's Birthday. We celebrated with cake and ice cream. Happy 37th Birthday dad!
Getting some help blowing out the candles!
