With Ryon gone so much for work, a night on the coach with dad has been rare. The boys sure enjoy when Ryon comes home and they can catch a little i-pad time with him. I'm not sure what they're watching here, but it seems to have certainly captured their attention!

End of the Season
Hoyt had his final game of the season tonight, and it was a scorcher! I think the temperature was 99 degrees, and I was feeling like it was about 110! Luckily Jett and I found some shade where we could watch the game and pass out treats afterwards.
Hoyt has turned into quite the little baseball player and has loved batting, running the bases, playing catcher, etc. Next year he will be on to coach pitch and I'm sure he'll love that too! I foresee many years of sitting in this kind of heat watching my boys play ball (but at least I won't always be 8 months pregnant)!!

Ryon's 20th HS Reunion
Our last activity to attend in Blackfoot was Ryon's 20th high school reunion. There was a picnic for the family on Friday evening at the high school football field, which was nice until a severe storm rolled in and everyone had to run for cover! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the picnic. Saturday night they a nice dinner for the adults. There weren't too many people that attended, but quite a few of Ryon's friends did and he enjoyed catching up with them. Kind of crazy how fast 20 years go by....I guess this means we are getting old!

Bear World - The Rides
After seeing all of the animals at Bear World, we took the kids over to the small rides section of the park. There were just a few rides for smaller children, and our kids loved it. Luckily there weren't many children there, so the kids enjoyed riding all of the rides numerous times! At the end of the day we went inside the gift shop and Grandma Murray bought a stuffed animal for each child - they were so excited to be able to pick one out! On our way back home we stopped for dinner at a buffet, and the rest of the trip home was quiet because they all fell asleep. Fun and tiring day!!

Bear World - The Animals
While we were over in Blackfoot, Ron and Kathy took our family and Noelle and Kyle's family to Bear World. Bear World is a little animal preserve that is home to quite a few animals, such as deer and elk, as well as over 40 bears. When we first arrived, we took a car tour through the park to see all of the animals, and then we took the kids to the "feeding and petting" zoo part of the park. They were all so excited to see the baby cubs and to feed and pet live deer and a pot-bellied pig. We also went on a "curator tour" which allows you to ride in a large double-decker truck and throw bread down for the bears to eat. The kids loved seeing the bears up on their hind legs asking for food!

July 4th in Blackfoot
We spent four days in Blackfoot at the beginning of July, so we could be there for the 4th, go to Ryon's 20th high school reunion and take a day trip to Bear World. The fourth was spent having fun outside; this included more slip-n-sliding, water fights, bubbles, cake for Grandma Murray's birthday (on July 3rd), horseshoes and our own little fireworks show. Let's just say be the end of the day everyone was ready for bed!

Summer Fun in the Backyard
When it starts to get hot outside, these boys want to break out the slip-n-slide and the little pool. I got everything blown and set up, and they had lots of fun for about an hour until the craziest wind storm blew in and we had to take cover in the house! Luckily I got everything picked up before it could be blown away (not an easy task for an 8 month pregnant lady in 95 degree weather)!
