Easter morning we drove over to Blackfoot to spend the day with grandma and grandpa Murray, Markus, and Noelle's family. We had to get up pretty early and be out the door by 8:30, but we managed to do it and get to Blackfoot in plenty of time for church. I have to say that the boys looked darling in their little Easter outfits, but they were not at all in the picture taking mood so I wasn't able to get many good shots....oh well!
After church, Noelle and Kyle's family joined us for dinner, some fun games, and a lesson on the true meaning of Easter.

Time with Dad
Now that it's Ryon's busy season for work, the boys can't seem to get enough of him. He has to be gone quite a bit at farms across the state, but when he comes home you can bet that Hoyt and Jett are ready to go out and play. Tonight they decided that they needed to have a quad ride - good thing we have plenty of space to get out and ride with dad!

DIS...NEY...LAND! (Part Three)
Day three was "hopped" between Disneyland and California Adventure. We started off at Disneyland where we all rode a few rides together, and then made our way over to Jedi training. I wanted to make sure that Hoyt was able to at least see the Jedi training, and I was secretly hoping that he would get picked to do it as well. We made it to Jedi training about 5 minutes before it started, and thanks to Tarsis (who pushed Hoyt and Isaiah to the front and had them jump and wave) they were picked to participate.
Throughout the entire training, you could tell that Hoyt was completely mesmerized. He was given a light saber and Jedi cloak, was taught a Jedi light saber routine and even got to fight against Darth Vadar. I think this was definitely the highlight of his trip! After riding a ton more rides (Hoyt and Ryon went on Star Tours at least 5 times this day) having dinner, watching the parade and huge fireworks show, my boys were TIRED! They crashed at the hotel as soon as we got back and then had to be picked up out of bed to get up the next morning so we could make our shuttle and get to the airport on time!
To say it was a long trip would be an understatement, but I think the boys loved every minute of it! When we got back home Hoyt asked when we would be going back to Disneyland. I said "soon" and Ryon just gave me "the look"!

DIS...NEY...LAND! (Part Two)
Day two was spent at California Adventure. The boys were troopers and got up early so we could have breakfast and get to the park on time to get in line for fast-passes to get on the ride Cars later that morning. (If you don't get a fast-pass for Cars you have to wait for hours) We enjoyed meeting Donald Duck, going on lots of rides, spending time with cousins and eating lunch at the Rain Forest Café. My favorite ride of the day was definitely Cars - so cute. For Hoyt it was a toss-up between Cars and California Adventure. He loved that he was big enough to go on all of the rides! That night the entire clan went to watch the water and light show back at the park - fun times!!
