I had a great birthday with time for myself, a great dinner with a spectacular view, and a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake that I bought for myself (sometimes you just have to get what you want)! Here's to seven more weeks and the perfect present!

Batter Up!
To say Hoyt was excited for his T-Ball season to start is an understatement! His team was the White Sox, and Hoyt loved playing in the games and practicing with dad at home. Ryon helped out at the games and after each game Hoyt would come home and want to go out with Ryon to play catch and bat. I think we may have another baseball fanatic in the family (and Ryon is pretty pleased about that)!

California Part 2
One of our evenings in California we went for a picnic at the lake. The kids had a great time exploring, feeding the ducks, finding pinecones and other cool objects, and playing soccer in the parking lot (go figure)! Towards the end of the evening, all Jett wanted to do was sit in the car and watch Mickey! Traveling is hard on little ones - and pregnant moms too!

California Part 1
We spent three weeks in California this summer - visiting family, soaking up the sun (110 degrees one Saturday and my pregnant self almost expired!) attending Dawnae's wedding, having picnics, watching the Pinewood Derby and much more. We love our time visiting and have so much fun!

Our Annual Pilgrimage
Every year the boys and I take a trip to California to visit for a few weeks, and every year we spend at least a weekend in Reno visiting all our friends (who are like family) there. During this visit my sweet friends threw me the most amazing baby shower! Sasha hosted and decorated, while Nicole and Camille prepared the food. I have to say that it was the most fabulous shower ever! I was too busy visiting and eating that I hardly took any pictures, but here are the few that I was able to get.
