Happy Valentine's!

I couldn't ask for two sweeter Valentines!!

On Valentine's Day I went with Hoyt to preschool to help with his party. It was lots of fun with six different craft stations, games to play, and Valentine's bags to fill. I took my camera, but could never find time away from my craft table to take pictures!! Hoyt helped me make peanut butter cookies with chocolate hearts for all of the kids in his class and wrote his name on every Valentine.

Towards the end of his party, Hoyt told me that he didn't feel very good, so after preschool we went home and he spent the rest of the day on the couch with a fever. He also started coughing quite a bit, so I took him to the doctor the next day (I thought he might have an ear infection) and the Dr. said that he had beginning stages of pneumonia. The rest of the week was spent at home, trying to rest and get over the pneumonia, and the two ear infections Jett ended up getting later in the week. We're praying for warm weather, no more germs and no more sickness in the Murray home!

Peas in a Pod

Sitting....eating goldfish.....and watching a show. Hoyt can't wait for Jett to get a little older so they can do "everything together"!

Off to Feed the Horses

I looked out the back window the other day to see Ryon and Hoyt off to feed the horses. It was pretty cold outside, so they were bundled up with hats, coats and boots (Hoyt had on my rain boots, because he says his boots are too small!).

Hoyt would spend all day with Ryon if he could; in fact the other day he said he would just go to work with dad instead of going to preschool. Whenever Ryon is out of town, Hoyt will get on the phone and say, "Dad, I miss you terribly!", and whenever he is asked who his best buddy is he will say, "dad, mom, and Jett" (dad always seems to come first). Hoyt loves to do anything that Ryon likes to do and wants to grow up to be just like his dad.

Books!

This little boy is really into books these days. He loves to look at the pictures (especially animal pictures) and numerous times a day I will find him sitting and "reading". Oh he's a cutie!

Agri-Action

Ryon did a show in Twin Falls this week called Agri-Action. It's a three-day event where Ryon has a booth, so the boys and I usually go one day to visit Ryon and look around. Hoyt absolutely loves it, because there are lots of vendors with tractors that the kids get to sit in and pretend to drive. One vendor brought a huge tractor that was worth $750,000! Hoyt climbed up in that one and I was sick that he would break something!

This year we brought Hoyt's best buddy Logan along for the fun. The boys ran from tractor to tractor and pretended to "farm", hit up every booth they could for free candy, got quite a few balloons, and had to be persuaded to leave by the promise of lunch at McDonald's. I think they had a pretty good day!

I only got a few pictures of the boys on some of the "smaller" equipment. As Jett and I tried to keep up with these two, someone stopped to ask me if Hoyt and Logan were twins. I said "no" but had to smile - these two would be trouble if they were together that much!!
