Hoyt has absolutely loved preschool this year; and we have loved his teacher Mrs. Steven's. He has learned so much and is ready to start kindergarten in the fall. We can't believe that this boy is already old enough to start "real school"! His graduation program was pretty darn cute, with lots of songs, individual speaking parts and some silliness too!

While Dad's Away
During the spring and summer months Ryon is gone quite a bit for work (who am I kidding - he is gone most of the time)! This leaves the boys and I home by ourselves a lot. This last week we went to Artic Circle for dinner and the boys had a great time playing in the play area. When Ryon is away it helps to get out of the house, especially in the evening when the boys seem to be especially restless!

Preschool Pictures
One of the moms from preschool volunteered to take pictures of Hoyt's preschool class. The pictures turned out darling, and I am so glad she took them. Hoyt has loved preschool this year and is so ready to go to school everyday! He is such a smart boy and loves to learn. One of the preschool pictures has each child holding up a chalkboard with what they want to do when they grow up written on it. Hoyt said he wanted to be a farmer, "just like his dad"! That's our boy - always wanting to do whatever dad is doing!!

Handsome Jett
Ryon and I just got i-phones about a month ago - we were a little later than most, but I am just happy that I have one. It is great for taking pictures when I am out and about with the kids and don't want to carry around my huge camera. Here are a few pictures of our handsome little Jetty that I took with my i-phone camera. He's just about 2 1/2 now and getting bigger and smarter and cuter by the day!!

Let's Take a Ride
Our friends the Maye's came by on Sunday to take us for a ride in their cool car. The boys loved it - especially because we were all able to sit in the backseat and there were no seatbelts!! What a great way to spend a Sunday evening.

PBR in Boise
Our great friend Jeff from Reno does all of the pyrotechnics for the PBR. He travels all over the country with the PBR and this past weekend they came to Boise. Jeff got us some tickets so Ryon, Hoyt and I along with Grandpa Murray and Markus made the two hour trip to Boise to watch the PBR. We got to go in a little early and have a tour behind the chutes, spend some time with Jeff and see all of the fun things the vendors were giving away. It was a great night. The only hard thing was getting home at 1:30 in the morning with church the next day at 9:00, but it was worth it!

Hoyt and Lea
One of Hoyt's best friends is Lea who lives two houses down from us. They get together and play at least three mornings a week before Lea has to go to kindergarten. These two are definitely "two peas in a pod" and it's pretty fun to sit and listen to their conversations as they play. It's great having friends that live just down the road!!

Silly Jett
I don't know what it is with my boys and dressing up, but they can always be found wearing some kind of hat, mask, costume, etc. The other morning Jett had gone down to the playroom and came up for breakfast as a baseball player. He insisted on wearing his baseball batter's helmet while he ate. Silly boy!!

Coloring Contest
A month or so ago, our dentist's office was having an Easter coloring contest. Hoyt decided to color the picture and turn it in, and he won! When we got the call that he had won for his age group he could hardly contain himself. He won a gift certificate to the yogurt shop "Kiwi Loco", so for Family Home Evening we took the boys in for a great big cup of frozen yogurt. They loved it - as you can clearly see!!
