Ode to a Cowboy Hat

Oh, a cowboy loves his cowboy hat...

Even when he's off to bed...
And what's a hat without a horse?
To be brushed and combed and fed...

They say a hat likes to be outside...

Ridin' in the wind...

With a trusty rope, and a pair of boots...

It's down the trail again.

He is so cute (no thanks to Ryan) What's up with football this year. Every year I wonder why I even play. I'm tired of getting my A double snakes kicked.

Oh my goodness he is so dang cute! I love the poem, it is very fitting. He is quite possibly one of the five most adorable children EVER. I think he is as cute as my kiddos.

Awesome pics! You could set those captions/lyrics to music and have a country hit. David attempted bull riding (of the mechanical sort) at the Louisiana state fair last weekend and it was quite a riot. I'll post the video on our blog in the next day or so. He would've done better if he'd had a cowboy hat:)
