Not everyone can say that they have been to the Idaho Potato Museum; lucky....lucky....lucky for us we got to pose for a picture in front of it last week. Hoyt and I can now mark that off of our 100 places to visit in our lifetimes!!
We traveled to Pocatello last weekend with my mom, dad, sister Marissa and brother Caleb to see the blessing of my nephew Landon. It was a 9 1/2 hour drive (UGH!) but Hoyt did amazingly well! Bless the person who came up with the idea of putting DVD players in cars. While we all now have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and 101 Dalmatians memorized word for word - it was definitely a lifesaver! At one point while watching 101 Dalmatians my dad asked..."Do they ever show them (Roger and Anita) getting married?" He was really into the story line!
We had a great time visiting with Kyle, Noelle and Landon, as well as grandma and grandpa Murray. The day of the blessing it snowed 3 inches, so Marissa and Caleb were in heaven. Growing up in California you never get to see snow actually falling on the ground. They had to go outside and play in it, and Caleb worked for at least 40 minutes to build a 1 foot snowman. We arrived back in Reno on Monday evening, and Hoyt was elated to see his crib. (He has a hard time sleeping when we travel...and he goes completely off his schedule!) It's always good to get back home.

101 Dalmatians is Jameson's favorite too, so bless the dvd player in the car. And yes, it does show them getting married but it's in the background behind the dogs. I have it memorized too.I love the cheezy smile.
Hahah - love that sour cream and slice of butter poking out the top of that potato! I'm totally going there next time I visit my dad :D
Hoyt is so lucky to go to the potato museum!! I'm so jealous!
Wow, the Potato Museum.... sounds fun! Looks like a fun trip. Hoyt is so big, and it looks like he love the camera! His cheezy smile is adorable!
Hmmm, the Idaho potato museum. I'm not sure that one is on my list.... The picture is cute though! :)
And I agree-car DVD players are a lifesaver, and a MUST for long travel. How did we ever survive without them? :)
