One of Hoyt's truck books has a fire engine in it, and the sound it makes is "Wee-Ooo...Wee-Ooo". Whenever we pass a fire engine, he makes the sound at the top of his lungs.
Last weekend we went over to the Coonce's and Hoyt saw Jeff's 1930's fire engine and was beside himself. He grabbed my hand and said, "Mom, fire truck...Wee-Ooo". Before we left Zan, Blair, Leigh, Ryon, Hoyt and I all climbed aboard the fire engine and took a ride. Hoyt thought it was pretty cool that Blair pushed the siren a few times, so he got to hear the "Wee-Ooo".
We ran out of gas at one point, but Leigh was a trooper and ran back to the house for more! What an adventurous afternoon. Hoyt had a grin on his face for the rest of the day!!
Pretending to drive all "by himself"!
We sat up on back for the ride - oh what fun!

Hi Ryon, Heather & Hoyt!
I am your mom's (Kathy) cousin. She us up in Sandy, Utah the other day and the cousins got together. I asked for blog info on famlies and she gave me yours. I hope that is okay. I love hearing about family and what's happening.
Your little Hoyt is darling! I have 9 grandchildren and of course I think they are all darling. I gave Kathy my blog info if you care to find out about us.
That is cool. I love the Coonce's. That old fire truck is awesome.
He is too cute! I love the story of him being bucked off the bull. Payge and Cade do that with their horses. It's hilarious...
It's too fun watching them grow up and be so independent!o
Hoyt is just darling in these pictures, mostly I think he looks more like you but in the one "driving by himself" he reminds me so much of Ryon. I love reading your blogs Heather, I don't comment much but I still enjoy reading!
I didn't know anybody personally owned a firetruck! How cool is that? Hoyt is just adorable and I especially love that ear to ear grin! Love you three!
that is too cool! where are you by the way? I keep checking for disneyland pics. I've been calling and there is no answer. hope all is well.
