Our Spring Break from preschool fell the last week of March. Unfortunately, it wasn't the warmest of weeks and we weren't able to spend much time outside. We made the most of it, however, with lots of playing inside, making cookies (Rolo cookies with white chocolate drizzle!), watching movies, and a trip to the YMCA pool.
Hoyt had been begging me for weeks to take him swimming at the pool inside the big "bubble". The YMCA has a large public pool in Twin Falls, and in the winter they inclose it in a large white tent. Hoyt wanted so badly to go and swim, so one afternoon when Ryon was home to watch Jett, Hoyt and I went swimming. When we first arrived at the pool we did some swim practice, but then Hoyt made friends with some kids and decided that playing pool football was better than swimming with me! It was the highlight of his Spring Break for sure!

Hoyt and Jett are starting to play pretty well together - on this day they were farmers planting their crops!

Say "cheeseburger"

Cookie making day - I love this picture of Hoyt!

I have to say that I'm pretty proud of the way the cookies turned out....lovely!

The pool pictures aren't the greatest, but I had to document the fun he had. His eyes are just a little red!

Throwing the football back and forth with his new friend

1...2...3...throw

He is swimming pretty well these days. I think after another summer of swim lessons, and a few weeks in California at grandma and grandpa Hoyt's pool, we'll have it down!
