Hoyt turned "1" on Sunday, and he loved every minute of it! He especially loved his birthday cupcake - it shouldn't be a surprise that he ate the entire thing. We celebrated with my family in California a week ago, and then on Sunday with Grandma and Grandpa Murray and the Biglers. (Personally...I think a week-long birthday is the way to go!)

Gosh I cannot believe that Hoyt is already 1! Time is flying! Cute pictures! He is such a good mixture of the both of you! He is adorable! I agree that a whole week worth of celebration is the way to go!
I was just thinking that he was about to turn one (since he is a month older than Emma). I was going to ask you on Sunday and totally forgot.

Oh Mylanta (is that the correct spelling?)! I can't believe he's 1 already. That went by so fast for me :) He's a sweet boy!
Love the concept of the birthday cupcake. It always seemed so wasteful to me to have a kid go to town on a whole cake. I mean there are starving people in Ethiopia (not to mention the fact that the other party-goers deserve a little something for their efforts:).
